Audio Visual Electronics has partnered with a third party financing company to enable customers to take advantage of financing on our products. This allows customers to "buy now, pay later"!

 

What is financing?

Financing, also known as "buy now, pay later" (BNPL) is a type of short-term solution that allows consumers to make purchases and pay for them over time. Using financing can be convenient, as this allows you to take products home without fully paying for it and paying the balance over a fixed period of time in installments.

 

How does it work?

Basically, Our financing partner is purchasing the product(s) for you from Audio Visual Electronics, and you will enter an agreement to pay them back over time for either (3) months or (6) months for the value of the product(s) plus interest and a small processing fee, which will be agreed upon and outlined in your contract.. Think of it like a hassle free short term loan!

 

What are the requirements?

As you may have guessed, there are going to be some requirements for this and we have the right to decline your application based on these requirements or any other that may hinder the repayment process..

To be eligible for financing you must:

  • Be 25 years or older.
  • Be Employed (self employment does qualify but you may be asked for more info).
  • NOT be in arrears with any collection agency such as BCA etc. (checks will be done before approval).
  • Have a bank account with sufficient funds to debit the first payment as part of the approval process.
  • Have a VALID photo ID (Driving license preferred, alternatively passport is also acceptable but proof of address will be required in the form of a utility bill i.e. BELCO).

 

What items are eligible for financing?

You can use financing for most items we carry including: Televisions, Mobile Phones, iPads/Tablets, Smart Watches, Audio Equipment, Air Conditioners, as well as accessories for the above items. The only requirement is that the value must be between $600 and $6500. You may also bundle items together as long as they are within the allotted value.

 

What is the process? How do I get started?

Step One: Visit one of our stores and have your information ready (Personal Email Address, Physical Address, Contact Information, Bank Account Number, Employer details, and your Photo ID with proof of address if not a drivers license).

Step Two: One of our sales representatives will assist you with filling out the required digital application, this may take a few minutes.

Step Three: Choose from either 3 months financing or 6 months financing, this is how long it will take to pay off your product(s).

Step Four: Our financing partner will directly debit your first payment immediately from your bank account upon sign up (credit/debit cards are not accepted, only bank accounts) (Clarien accounts may take up to 3 days to confirm payment). Choose your recurring payment date for future payments (The day after your paycheck is deposited is usually best).

Step Five: Your application will be submitted to our financing partner for review and an email with a copy of your signed agreement will be sent to you. The review process normally takes up to 2 business days, but may take more or less depending on if more information is required or if there are any issues with collecting your first payment. Occasionally our financing partner may reach out to you and ask you to provide more information in order to proceed with your application.

Step Six: You will receive an email from our financing partner once the review process is complete and the first payment has been successfully confirmed. A store representative from Audio Visual may also reach out to you to let you know your item is ready for collection/delivery.

Step Seven: The product(s) are yours! You may collect them from the store you signed up at or arrange for us to have your items delivered.

Please note: You must be present when the product is handed over as your signature is required to release the item to you.

Step Eight: Our financing partner will send you regular email updates including upcoming payment reminders and payment confirmations.
